New VPN location for West US & Seattle.
Liberty Lake
We’re happy to announce our new VPN location of Liberty Lake Washington, with Incognet as the ISP, as an additional endpoint for the Seattle location. This smaller datacenter allows speedy access to the major players, while retaining privacy and exclusivity.
Load Balancing
If you have a Seattle subscription, you’ll automatically be assigned either Liberty Lake or the straight Seattle one. This location will load balance with the other Seattle one, to handle the same Seattle subscriptions. This is to prevent downtime, by having two locations in the same state. The datacenters are about a 4 hour drive from each other.
For POTENTIAL future downtime,
The HydraVeil client will automatically renegotiate with the same subscription, while mobile/router users should log into the VPN billing website to request a config from the other Seattle datacenter IF there is potential future downtime. You’d use the same existing subscription.
