Anonymous Tickets | HydraVeil Release 2.2.6
HydraVeil adds a new privacy-focused billing system.
Anonymous Tickets
This is a huge release with game changer features. Before it was a friction point to have to buy each profile separately. Now we’re introducing cryptography-based anonymous tickets, where the user can pay a single time and still have each profile isolated from all of the rest.

Automated & Easy
The entire setup is automated, and only takes a few seconds (beyond the usual time to pay an invoice). You don’t need to read the academic guides below to use it. Just click the button.

You setup the cryptographic billing in HydraVeil, after it’s setup, you can use tickets in HydraVeil itself, or via a web panel.
This new system gives you 6 “tickets”, which are anonymous until it’s used. Once it’s used, it turns into a billing code under the old system.
DOES hide:
Payment is separated from the VPN use
One profile from another profile
One device from another (mobile vs android)
does NOT hide:
Repeat use of the same profile
Once a ticket is cashed in, it’s like a regular billing ID, which is fine for using the same Wireguard key.
Join a Billing Group
You join a billing group with everyone else who picked that time length. When you cash tickets in, we don’t know who in the group originally bought it.

Web Panel:
There is a new fairly easy web panel for cashing in tickets. This is a temporary measure until we combine the two web panels,
ticket.hydraveil.net/use
If you don’t feel like using the new web panel, you could cash it in via HydraVeil itself with Tor billing, and then use the billing code with the old system. Whatever you prefer.
Wireguard Only For Now:
The current ticket system is for Wireguard profiles only. It would be more development work to roll it out for Tor->socks profiles as well. This could be a potential future feature.
How does it work?
You actually don’t need to know the math of how it works under the hood to use it. But if you want it, we have beginner and advanced guides below.
