Denmark Bans DeepFakes
This is a big move against free speech.

Quote ZME:
"Under the new rules, anyone caught publishing manipulated content like deepfakes — without the subject’s permission — would be ordered to take it down. Tech platforms, including major social media companies, would be legally obligated to remove flagged deepfake content when requested." [1]
They also want to stop “misinformation” [2].
This is a very slippery situation, as currently the law excludes “satire” that is labeled as such, but can quickly turn into a vehicle to stop criticism of the government.
Risks:
Another big risk of banning Deep Fakes, is leaked audio/video of government officials to prove corruption, can be banned from social media. Simply by declaring it to be “fake”
Facial recognition
Corrupt AI company Facia is abusing the government’s power-grab to promote “Facial recognition technology (FRT)” to “assist in authenticating real identities and flagging deepfakes”. [2] This company sells deepfake detection and digital ID services to governments.
Conclusion
Screw Denmark’s government. And if you try to jail me for saying that, then I’m not the real author. And our podcast is deepfaked.
