I have the opposite worldview. The government, Big Tech, and Banks are leeching criminals.
I promote privacy to shield productive agora businesses from their oppression.
Wrong Price for Monero!
These cryptocurrencies are worth MORE than they are listed on exchanges. You can objectively hire people cheaper. People are willing to work harder for less, IF it’s under more free conditions..
Because you’re tapping global talent without the red tape (or KYC which takes time), for example South America or Eastern EU banking fees/delays/taxes/cross-border issues.
So when people say it’s bullshit, what they really mean is, they refuse to consider use-cases beyond speculating on the price. Simplified Privacy can do your whole corporate IT infrastructure with email, internal comms, and a website design for $250. Most fiat IT companies will rent you staff at $20,000+ for these kinds of IT services.
Not to mention, think about what a better world it would be, if more small businesses used open source self-hosting, instead of just Gmail with their vanity domain.
Price Spike?
The best thing that could ever happen to Monero isn't a price spike. But for the @Monero twitter, telegram, and reddit channels to all be banned. And for Windows and Apple to block XMR wallets.
This would force those who really meant the memes all along to adopt freedom tech.
