Payments 101: Subscriptions vs Profiles
Profiles and Subscriptions are different concepts, that work together

Subscriptions
A subscription is access to the VPN service. Each subscription is tied to one location, and you can have as many subscriptions as you like.
Fingerprint Data
The data for a browser fingerprint is stored locally on your device. It is NOT stored on the cloud.
Profiles
The concept of a Profile is a browser fingerprint stored locally on your device, PLUS access to the VPN subscription.
Subscriptions vs Profiles
So only the VPN (or Socks5 Proxy) subscription info is saved on the cloud.
Subscription
Think of a subscription like a bus pass, it just shows you paid to get on.
Fingerprint
Think of a browser fingerprint like clothing, that you keep at home (stored locally on your device).
Profiles
Think of a profile as getting off the bus you paid for, and people seeing your clothing and where you came from.
Data?
While in real life the bus driver can see what you’re wearing, with our app, we can’t. The only thing our server stores is what country the subscription is and when it expires.
Layer 1 Systemwide
Systemwide subscriptions are like a regular VPN, it can be used on a mobile phone, router, or any device for systemwide traffic.
Note for Android:
We have a guide on setting this up for Android: [Link]
Layer 2 Profiles
Layer 2 profiles is way more than just a VPN, but also includes a browser fingerprint.
Wireguard Keys
For both systemwide and browser-only, we tie the subscription to a single location and a Wireguard key. You can rotate the key, but the location never changes.
Pay in the App
Accepted cryptocurrencies are Monero, Bitcoin Lightning, Bitcoin Layer 1, and Litecoin.
