New Release: v1.2.2 w/ Rotating WireGuard Keys!
New Settings Tab with v1.2.2!
Simplified Privacy version: 1.2.2 Release
This version brings a new powerful settings tab with:
Rotating WireGuard Keys
Other VPNs have 1 WireGuard key only, so it just auto-rotates and that’s it. But our VPN gives you all these different profiles in different countries.
So now as of today’s new update, the settings tab gives you fine-grained control over how often each of these individual profiles rotates WireGuard keys. This way you’re not rotating keys often, for profiles you barely use, which avoids slowing you down by a few seconds on connection.
Advice on use:
When it rotates, it has a minor delay to coordinate with the billing server, so turn the rotation on based on, how often you actually use the profile. Otherwise, you’d have a delay for nothing.
Manage Profiles
Step 1: Get It
This command fetches the newest version:
curl -O -J https://api.simplifiedprivacy.is/api/v1/platforms/linux-x86_64/appimage-versions/latest/Simplified_Privacy-x86_64.AppImage
Step 2. Verify
To verify it, run this command:
shasum -a 256 [filename]
Should spit out this for version: 1.2.2:
